Revised GIT/REP 3 form

<< Browse/Search for Another News ArticlePlease be advised that the Division of Taxation has again revised the GIT/REP-3 form, effective, December, 2007. The changes to the form and instructions further clarify the changes made in November regarding Seller's Assurances No. 7 relating to like-kind (1031) exchanges. (The change to the GIT/REP-3 form provides an additional box in Seller's Assurance No. 7 which is checked when no non-like kind property is received.) Please refer to the instructions on the form for further information on reporting these types of transactions.
Please be reminded that the County Clerks will only accept the current form which can be downloaded from Taxation's website http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation as needed.
